Yeah definitely more than a 1 day project. The new texture itself you apply takes a good 48 hours to properly dry before you should begin priming.

I have the opportunity to one day own my parent's 60-70 yr old ranch house. They made a few changes, but, I want to completely remodel it from outside to inside. There are beautiful hardwood floors inside covered up under carpeting. The kitchen is small, I'd like to see that open up, change the bedroom layout, and there is a family room that I would like to see become bigger and circular, with Insulation put in. Any ideas?

Hi
I read your posts about traditional front doors. We have a flush, veneer wood front door that really is not seen b/c of the pretty, original 1950's screen door. However, as the veneer is peeling up and chipped away at the bottom, I would like replace the door.
I found a flush wood grained fiberglass door from Masonite and I was wondering if this would be a period appropriate replacement. I have not been able to find flush wood doors. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you

I have these cabinets! I don't want to paint everything, just the doors and drawer fronts. I thought a sage green would look good, and the dark brown of the base/cabinet would look like trim in contrast. I've been looking everywhere online for a pic of this. Has anyone done it or seen it before? I can not possibly be the first one to think of this, right?

Hi, I live in my mom's 1957 ranch in Houston Texas. I am slowly painting (all I can afford in remaking) and am looking for ideas for window treatments. Each of the 4 bed rooms has that 72" long, high window (typically the bed centers underneath). Mine are set in 3" and have mini blinds set inside. I'd like to do something 'wow' with these but have no idea. I would have uploaded a pic but don't see how. Thanks for any suggestions you have, VickiD
