Hi, I live in my mom’s 1957 ranch in Houston Texas. I am slowly painting (all I can afford in remaking) and am looking for ideas for window treatments. Each of the 4 bed rooms has that 72″ long, high window (typically the bed centers underneath). Mine are set in 3″ and have mini blinds set inside. I’d like to do something ‘wow’ with these but have no idea. I would have uploaded a pic but don’t see how. Thanks for any suggestions you have, VickiD
Hi
I read your posts about traditional front doors. We have a flush, veneer wood front door that really is not seen b/c of the pretty, original 1950′s screen door. However, as the veneer is peeling up and chipped away at the bottom, I would like replace the door.
I found a flush wood grained fiberglass door from Masonite and I was wondering if this would be a period appropriate replacement. I have not been able to find flush wood doors. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you
