My New Casa Contessa Bronze Ceiling Fan

It is the little things that seem to get me to do the “Happy Dance” lately. Where a tiny hole existed yesterday – now hangs a new ceiling fan! My new ceiling fan is a work of art!

Happy DanceHappy – Happy – Happy Dance!

Until this ceiling fan was installed I had know idea if it was going to look “right”. Because I got brave (and a bit frustrated) I had my assistant go online and just “pick out some nice fans”!

She does know my taste so I trusted her… and Wow! So far I am thrilled.

The reason I was so frustrated with ceiling fan shopping in town… almost all ceiling fans have light kits.

I wanted Spanish ceiling fans without lights. Because each room will have recessed lights and table lamps… I don’t want the silly little lights that hang down from the fan. Ceiling fan lights seem to blind me instead of giving nice warm light to a room.

Why would I want to pay for light kits I wasn’t going to be using?

Grrr….

LampsPlus.com is a one stop shop for ceiling fan choices. Did you know you can build your own ceiling fan? Choose the light kit, the fan blades and the rod length all with a few clicks of the mouse. Plus, LampsPlus.com ships really fast. I thought that was going to be super important to me because I had the electrician all lined up… Or so I thought.

The electrician decided to leave town for three weeks. Guess what? I got a different electrician. One that actually wanted to work! — Go Figure —

Remember – I have a Hacienda Style going on in my house… Is this ceiling fan perfect or what?

I wanted something simple yet elegant and just a bit rustic… but not typical “old world” style.

You can order this fan right from LampsPlus.com

This fan is quiet… silent and just a tiny bit of movement can be seen in the chain. I am so thrilled with the brand and the warranty as well.
