Hi Nadine...

I understand perfectly. I've seen the "sideways" to the street ranch style house in our area.

You can move your front door - but it is expensive to do exterior work and have it look great without changing the entire exterior.

It would be helpful to have you send pictures to my email and I can sort out your options.

just came across your site. I'm doing some research about renovating my 'ranch-style' home. I am actually looking to relocate my front door, as weird as that may seem. my house was one of the first built on my street.

Now, 40 years later, it faces sideways...so the left side of the house faces the street.

I would really like to make this the true front of the house with a lil' porch and nice entryway. There are many things I want to do to update my house but I figured this would be the first step before anything else fell into place. Is this possible? any d=feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!
